Workshop
attendees have been grouped into the 5 categories below corresponding to the
classification of submitted position papers.
Please check your group membership below. We have attempted to find the best possible
match for each attendee, but under the constraint that we want the groups to be
reasonably balanced in terms of size.
Please note that each application domain needs to have a system
infrastructure of some kind, and an underlying science to build on. Similarly, many capabilities from one domain
will hopefully be usable across other domains.
Infrastructures, likewise, must be able to support multiple application
domains. Theory and science must be supplemented
by available building blocks to construct working systems. So, cross-pollination is essential. We expect that the top-down views will meet
head-on bottom up factors, and good ideas will be generated.
Cyber-physical
systems span the cyber-world and the physical world – so, expertise from both
domains matter a lot, and cross-disciplinary bridges must continue to be built.
